  • About Me

Vibrant and alive is my world. Taking that moment to see the way it all shines. Experiencing the magic cast of a shadow, the glow of color or the dramatic light created from a parting cloud on a stormy afternoon. I see these beautiful things between myself and my lens, always slowing down just enough to fully appreciate a subject or an instant that might ordinarily pass by when I'm just too hurried to look. Having recently graduated with a professional photography degree from The Center for Digital Imaging Arts at BU, age 37 could never be better! I am finally following my true passion that started as way back as age 8, when I toted around that cool little red Kodak 110, snapping pictures of everything that crossed my path; everyone that enlightened my spirit. I am a storyteller, someone who delights in the interests of others, whomever they may be-- a free-spirit, if you will, incredibly social and willing to talk until nightfall about where I am, what you are, who is this place and when can I shoot! I thrive on experience. Whether it’s a plane ride away to the jungles of Belize or the beaches of Costa Rica, the Las Vegas strip at high noon, or simply right out my back door in Massachusetts, it is the journey that moves me, and the camera that documents that journey no matter how long and complicated it may prove to be. I believe there is always a story to be told, and my focus in photography is to share with the viewer an interepretation of the tale.

  • What are your favorite things to do?

Engage people in conversation. You never know what you may find out. The camera comes out after the conversation starts.

  • What inspires you?

Sunsets, of course, but in particular the light that is behind me, the light that falls in patterns from that red glowing ball.

  • If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?

To help people to understand what change could really mean.
