Going over the Lobato Trestle, the engineer enjoys the ride as much as we do. The trestle was built in 1883, and due to weight restrictions, only one locomotive at a time can cross the bridge. That means if a long train is being pulled by two locomotives, they must stop before the trestle, unhook one locomotive and drive it across the bridge before the other locomotive and the rest of the train can cross. Then the two locomotives can be re-joined. Our train only had one engine.
