Panama Mountains

We ventured from Cabin 2 at Los Quetzales Lodge with our guide Able to the surrounding mountain area where we saw all sorts of beautiful landscapes. This is the best part of Panama.Nestled against a mountain slope in a picturesque farming village,a beautiful lodge and higher up in the cloud forest at an altitude of 2100 meters, are the individual mountain chalets. The lodge and chalets are set next to a pristine river within a 400 hectare private compound in the cloud forests of the Park. This video features a our vehicle stuck in the mud and attempting to cross one of the mountain rivers. This is a fantastic place and if you come this far you must book cabin 2 and go up into the cloud forest, though I suggest you get a ride up into the forest in one of the Lodges Land Rovers. Look to more of the videos in the series, there are many to choose from, and make sure to travel in February or March, after the wet season.
